Soil Samples- The Scorpion Queen!
We were analyzing the athropods in soil samples, checking for biodiversity in my Ecology Discussion.
I must say, I think our pair had it made, because although all our specimins were dead, we didn’t have to deal with mites or sprintails or symphyla. I mean, we had our fair share of springtails under our microscope, but we were the first group to have a soil sample with a Pseudo-scorpion in it!
So there you go…. Casey and I are the Scorpion Queens!
Kallen is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Journalism at the University of Oregon and, of course, writing a blog.

Why is it that you “queens” were the only ones in the class to have Pseudo-scorpions in your sample? Maybe those were REAL scorpions and you two are merely Pseudo-queens!
