Quick Guano?

Jun8, 08 at 1949

I was watching a Dirty Jobs episode where host Mike Rowe assisted a Bat Biologist into a cave to take temperature readings.
I was rather intrigued when Mike Rowe was trapped in what resembled quicksand but was actually  layers of guano… bat droppings…
I guess this would work similar to quicksand since quicksand is not necessarily sand [...]

Echinoderms Vs. Mollusks-Part II

Apr3, 08 at 2217

Well, in terms of the psychology experiment, I definitely was correct in my previous post regarding the argumentative factor of the Echinoderms Vs. Mollusks.
In fact, there is even a blog response by Kevin at Deep Sea News regarding my cavalier attitude on the coolness of snails. After he mentions Endosymbiotic bacteria, I must admit, [...]

However, if a zoo is accredited by the AZA you know that it is much more than that, as well as being a decent zoo where animals are cared for properly.

Life in the Sahara

However, besides the Camels, no other animals were spotted in the movie’s version of the desert. Although this was a pretty desolate picture presented, which was the movie’s aim, other animals do live in such an extreme habitat.
